Resource Label Group's Add-On Acquisition Announced
PITTSBURGH, PA - July 29, 2011
PNC Mezzanine Capital today announced that its portfolio company, Resource Label Group, LLC ("RLG" or the "Company"), has purchased Pamco Printed Tape & Label Co. ("Pamco"), a designer and manufacturer of pressure sensitive labels, non-pressure sensitive labels and hang tags. Based in Des Plaines, Illinois, Pamco has a long, successful history and currently services a customer base that includes over 1,000 national, regional and local businesses.
Pamco represents the first add-on acquisition for RLG since the Company was acquired by a fund managed by First Atlantic Capital, Ltd in April 2011. The Pamco acquisition represents a successful first step in the Company's consolidation strategy and expands RLG's geographic footprint into Chicago and into the Midwest.
